Severna Park Patch: What are your goals or expectations for this season?
Sydney Jolliffe: I say one of the goals is definitely getting to states. I think one of our main goals is making sure we earn every win we have — by going out and playing hard every single game, and focusing as a team.

Severna Park Patch: What’s one of the key matchups you have this season?
Jolliffe: Cape Henlopen will be a good one because they are the Delaware state champs.

Severna Park Patch: What was your favorite field hockey moment or experience at Severna Park?
Jolliffe: Probably being on JV, and being on the sidelines for all the varsity games because you get to cheer on your big sister.

Severna Park Patch: What advice would you give to an aspiring high school field hockey player?
Jolliffe: I would just say every practice give it your all. Every drill make sure you are focusing so you can improve your skills no matter how redundant it may be.
