Boys Soccer: Severna Park Captures County Championship

With the win, the Severna Park boys soccer team improves to 12-0-2 heading into the state playoffs.

Fresh off a county championship victory over Broadneck Tuesday night, the Severna Park High School boys soccer team is storming into postseason play.

Led by forward Daniel Kwon's hat trick, the Falcons defeated the Bruins 3-2 in the Anne Arundel County Championships, The Baltimore Sun reported.

The Flacons came from behind twice in Tuesday's contest. The team entered the game having scored 35 goals and allowed just nine on the season, according to The Baltimore Sun.

Severna Park now takes a 12-0-2 record into the class 4A state playoffs.
The Falcons received a No. 1 seed and a first-round bye. The team will host the winner of North County and Glen Burnie on Oct. 29.
