Boys Lacrosse: Chesapeake Upsets Severna Park 7-6

The Severna Park girls lacrosse team defeated Chesapeake 11-7.

The No. 10 ranked Severna Park boys lacrosse team fell to Chesapeake High School 7-6 Tuesday night in Pasadena.

The upset win keeps the Cougars (4-0) undefeated so far this season.

The Falcons (2-2) had two-goal performances from Jonah Koziresk and Brendan Steele, but it wasn’t enough. Chesapeake’s Matt Michalski was 13 for 17 on face offs, and the Cougars knocked off the top ranked Falcons.

The loss marks the second defeat for the Falcons this season. The team’s first loss came on March 27 when they fell to No. 7 Spalding. Severna Park will host Northeast High School on Friday.

The Severna Park girls lacrosse team defeated Chesapeake 11-7 Wednesday night behind Laura Milleker’s four-goal performance, the Capital Gazette reported.

Severna Park (3-1) is ranked No. 8 in the Washington Post’s All-Met poll. The team’s only loss comes to No. 7 Severn School on March 28.

The Falcons will play Northeast on Friday at 5 p.m.
