8 Locals Named to 2012 US Lacrosse Teams

Eight girls lacrosse players from Severna Park High School and Severn School were named to the US Lacrosse 2012 All-Academic or All-American Teams.

Four student-athletes from  and one from were named to the US Lacrosse 2012 All-Academic Team.

According to their website, US Lacrosse is the national governing body of men's and women's lacrosse, primarily serving the youth game. The All-Academic team is formed on a nomination basis.
