Winter Sports Underway at SPHS

Many winter sports are starting up at Severna Park High School.

Fall sports for Severna Park High School (SPHS) have ended, but don’t worry Falcon sports fans—the winter season has already begun.

Many teams have started practicing, or participating in scrimmages and gearing up for the start of games and meets.

Remember you can always upload pictures and scores to Patch as an announcement. And if you have an idea for an interesting winter sports story, email kaitlyn.carr@patch.com

Here’s a rundown of this week’s schedule:

Tuesday

  • Indoor Track Scrimmage, 3:30 p.m. at Annapolis High School

Wednesday

  • Varsity Wrestling Match, 4 p.m. at SPHS
  • Boys Varsity Basketball vs. Key School, 5 p.m. at Key School

Thursday

  • Girls Varsity Basketball vs. St. Mary's High School, 7 p.m. at SPHS

Friday

  • Bowling Tournament, 3:30 p.m., Annapolis Bowl
  • Varsity Wrestling Invitational, all day, Wicomico Center

Saturday

  • Varsity Wrestling Invitational, all day, Wicomico Center 
  • Boys Varsity Basketball vs. Broadneck, 2:45 p.m., at SPHS
  • Girls Varsity Basketball vs. Broadneck, 4:45 p.m., at SPHS
