Two Treated for Heat-Related Issues at Chesapeake Bay Middle

The school will close at 11 a.m. due to high temperatures and no air conditioning.

Two patients needed medical treatment for "heat-related" issues at , according to Capt. James Rostek, Anne Arundel County Fire Department spokesman.

The school, which also temporarily houses , will close at 11 a.m. because of the high temperatures and no air conditioning.

There was no information available about the two people who were treated, Rostek said.

Temperatures are predicted to spike in the mid-90s today and a heat advisory remains in effect for the region from noon to 8 p.m.
