SPHS Seeks Volunteers for Mock Interviews

Severna Park High School (SPHS) is seeking volunteers to help students prepare for the business world. 

The SPHS Business Advisory Board is looking for volunteers from the business community to help conduct mock interviews, or participate in career conversations with the about 500 junior year students. The interviews will be held Dec. 9-12.

Betsy Hein with the Business Advisory Board said they need people to either participate in a mock job interview with the students, or participate in a Career Conversation with a small group of students.  

"Basically informing students about the volunteer's profession, education required, job skills needed, etc.," Hein said in an email. "And then answer any questions students who may be interested in that field may ask."
