Severna Park Rated High in Washington Post Rankings

Severna Park High School was ranked 13th in Maryland.

Severna Park High received the second-highest marks of Anne Arundel County Schools in a Washington Post ranking of schools across the country.

The Post's ranking of the nation's most challenging high schools evaluated schools on the number of high-level tests (such as Advanced Placement or International Baccalaurate) given to students each year. They were also scored based on how many students passed at least one college-level test.

In its ranking of schools in Maryland, Severna Park ranked 13th.

The 2013 rankings also featured high marks for South River (6th), Annapolis (17th) and Broadneck (19th).
