Severna Park Baseball, Softball Set for Postseason Play

Postseason play for Severna Park baseball and softball will kickoff this week with the baseball team set to faceoff against rival Broadneck High School on Friday.

The Falcon baseball team earned a No. 8 seed in the east region of the Class 4A state baseball playoffs and will host No. 9 Broadneck High School in the first round on Friday.

On May 2, the baseball team defeated Broadneck 5-0. The winner of the Severna Park – Broadneck matchup will go on to face the No. 1 seed North Point on Monday.

The Severna Park softball team earned a No. 1 seed in the east region of the Class 4A state softball playoffs and received a first round bye. The Falcons will host the winner of the Leonardtown – Great Mills game on Monday.

The Falcon softball team will play Northeast in the county championship game Wednesday night at Bachman Park.
