Severn School Upper School Graduation Guide

102 Severn Upper School seniors set to graduate on Saturday.

Severn School's Baccalaureate will be held at 7:30 p.m. Friday at , 611 Baltimore Annapolis Blvd., in Severna Park.

Severn School Upper School graduation begins at 9 a.m. Saturday on the Boone House lawn, 116 Maple Ave., where 102 students will graduate. The valedictorian is Tony Olmert of Annapolis with a GPA of 4.3677.

The event is imited to families with six guests for outside ceremonies.

In the event of inclement weather, graduation and the reception will be held in St. John Athletic Center.

Severn's keynote speaker is Richard Zmuda, Upper School English teacher and author.

Here's a breakdown of where the graduates will be heading in the fall:

  • Number attending four-year colleges:  99 percent
  • Number attending two-year colleges: 1 percent

According to Severn School's website, on-campus parking is limited. Families are asked to use the parking lots on Holly Avenue and parallel parking on Maple Avenue. The school asks that visitors do not block access to any residential driveways on Maple and Holly Avenues.

Parking for seniors is at Severna Park Elementary School on Riggs Avenue. Buses will shuttle graduates to campus. Additional guest parking is available at Woods Memorial Church.
