Mark Your Calendars: Severn School Reminders

Do you have a student at Severn School in Severna Park? Here are some upcoming dates you'll want to remember, courtesy of the school's newsletter.

Event: Bull Roast & Barn Bash
Date: Nov. 3
Details: Hosted by the Athletic Committee of the APA for Severn adults, the event takes place in Severn's Memorial Gym. Barn doors open 7 p.m. and the cost is $49 per person.

Event: Galley Volunteers Needed
Date: Throughout October
Details: The school is in need of volunteers for the month of October to work  2-hour shifts during home games selling food and drinks. All proceeds from Galley sales benefit Severn athletes.

Event: Search Smarter, Not Harder
Date: Weekly
Details: Become a search master by learning to use the filters, operators, and tricks built into many search engines. Each week the Zimmerman Library crew will post a search challenge and tip of the week.
