Local Students Make Dean's List
Several students from the Severna Park area were honored for their fall semester GPAs.

What follows is a list of graduates who have made the dean's list for the fall semester at their colleges based on their high-scoring GPAs.
University of Vermont

Mallory S. Orr, of Severna Park, has been named to the dean's list for the fall 2011 semester at the University of Vermont. Orr is a sophomore recreation management major in the Rubenstein School of Environment and Natural Resources.
To be named to the dean's lists, students must have a grade-point average of 3.0 or better and rank in the top 20 percent of their class in their respective college or school.

Providence College
Mark Dushel, a resident of Severna Park and a member of the class of 2014, has been named to the dean's list at Providence College for the fall 2011 semester. To qualify for the dean's list, students must achieve at least a 3.55 grade point average with a minimum of 12 credits.

To meet eligibility requirements for the dean's list, a student must be enrolled full time and earn a GPA of 3.33 or higher for the semester.
