Patch stopped by the Severna Park varsity girls soccer practice and spoke with senior Kendall Kosman about her soccer career, life at SPHS and her plans for the future.
Severna Park Patch: What was your favorite experience playing soccer at Severna Park High School?
Kendall Kosman: Last year when I was a junior we made it to states and that was the first time we made it to states in at least seven or eight years and it was a really cool experience.
Severna Park Patch: What athlete would you say you idolize and why?
Kosman: I guess Abby Wambach because she plays the position I do and I have grown up watching her play.
Severna Park Patch: What do you like to do besides soccer in school or outside of school?
Kosman: I am really into art and I am going to be studying art and education when I go into college next year. I have really grown to like it a lot. I am interning at Oak Hill Elementary next year.
Severna Park Patch: What was your favorite class that you took at Severna Park High School?
Kosman: I’d have to say art. My AP drawing and painting class is really cool and everyone in the class is really devoted to art. It is really nice being able to see people liking and enjoying the same things you do.
Severna Park Patch: What are you plans for next year?
Kosman: I plan to stay close to home because I am a really big family person and I am very close with my family. I haven’t decided exactly where I am going but hopefully I will be making that decision soon.
