It's Back-to-School Time in Severna Park

There was no sleeping in late this morning for Severna Park area teens and youngsters as they began their new Anne Arundel County public school year on Tuesday.

Area ninth graders started at Severna Park High School while sixth graders also had the school to themselves at

All students in grades 1 through 12 begin on Wednesday.

Elementary school first through fifth graders started Tuesday with pre-kindergarten and kindergarten starting with a staggered schedule on Thursday. Early Childhood Intervention students start on Friday.
