Five Questions with SP Basketball's Hannah Carroll

Hannah Carroll is a senior on the Severna Park High School basketball team.

Patch stopped by the Severna Park varsity basketball practice and spoke with senior Hannah Carroll, 17, about her basketball career, life at SPHS and her plans for the future.

Severna Park Patch: What is your favorite Severna Park basketball memory?
Hannah Carroll: Freshman year we played Southern at Southern, and I had the winning two free throws with 11 seconds left. It was the most nerve-racking thing in my life.

Severna Park Patch: What are your expectations for this season?
Hannah Carroll: To go over .500 for our record. And we always want to beat Broadneck.

Severna Park Patch: What other groups or activities do you participate in at Severna Park High School?
Hannah Carroll: I do Santa’s Helpers during Christmas. I volunteer and bring things to kids in Baltimore in the winter.

Severna Park Patch: What was your favorite class at Severna Park?
Hannah Carroll: Math because I like to figure things out, and I really like problem solving.

Severna Park Patch: What are your plans after high school?
Hannah Carroll:
I want to attend a four-year college and get a good education. I also want to play basketball.
