Homes has started sales for The Villas at Waugh Chapel – a
40-townhouse neighborhood within the Waugh Chapel Towne
Centre in Gambrills.
Michael DeStefano, president of Sturbridge Homes, told the Baltimore Business Journal he expects the townhomes to sell for about $440,000. Construction is scheduled to begin June 25.
Each three-bedroom townhome will have two floors complete with a spacious kitchen, great room and owner’s suite, plus additional lower level featuring a recreation room and two-car garage, according to a news release.
Plans call for eight buildings to house five townhomes each. DeStefano said the first unit should be done in September, with all 40 units expected to be completed within 18 months.
The target market for the development is young professionals, he said.
Waugh ChapelTowne Centre’s mix of retailers, restaurants and services includes Wegmans and Regal Cinemas.
Sturbridge Homes was recently honored with a “Builder of Integrity” award from Quality Builders Warranty and has also been recognized as “Builder of the Year” by the Homebuilders Association of Maryland.
