It's Flu Shot Time: Clinics Offer Free Vaccines in Anne Arundel

The county provided more than 22,500 doses of the flu vaccine during last year's flu season.

Weekly walk-in flu vaccination clinics started Wednesday in Anne Arundel County, sponsored by the Department of Health. The clinics are held at the Parole and Glen Burnie health centers. Vaccines are free for county residents, but donations are accepted. 

The county provided more than 22,500 doses of the flu vaccine during last year's flu season. 

Weekly Community Walk-in Clinics:

  • Parole Health Center, 1950 Drew St., Annapolis
    Mondays and Wednesdays: 8:30–11:30 a.m. and 1–3:30 p.m. 

  • Glen Burnie Health Center, 416 A St., SW, Glen Burnie
    Tuesdays and Fridays: 8:30–11:30 a.m. and 1–3:30 p.m.
    *Note that the Oct. 22 afternoon clinic will have extended hours from 1–7 p.m.
Special Walk-in Clinics:
  • Oct. 10, 9 a.m. – noon, 1–4 p.m. and 5–7 p.m.
    Health Services Building, 3 Harry S. Truman Parkway, Annapolis

  • Nov. 5, 1–4 p.m. and 5–7 p.m. 
    Health Services Building, 3 Harry S. Truman Parkway, Annapolis
Most locations offer the flu shot, nasal spray flu vaccine (for healthy people ages 2 to 49), high-dose flu shot for age 65 and older, and the pneumococcal vaccine.
