Two Arrested in Connection With Millersville Burglary

Police said the pair forced their way into a home in the 200 block of Rock Ridge Road.

Police arrested a Severna Park man and an Owings, MD, woman and charged them with burglary on Wednesday.

At 1:18 p.m., police received a call from a homeowner in the 200 block of Rock Ridge Road in Millersville who had confronted two intruders. Joseph Lloyd Butler, 21, of Hollywood Road in Severna Park and Mary Kathleen Anderson, 22, of Briscoe Turn Road in Owings, were found later by police K-9 units.

According to police, the two forced open a door and entered the home by Butler ringing the doorbell while Anderson forced open a garage service door. Anderson entered the home and was confronted by the homeowner, according to a police report.

The pair ran from the house towards Kinder Farm Park where several officers and K-9 units searched the area and found the pair a short distance away from the home. 

There were no injuries to the victim and no property was taken during the incident.
