The shooting incident also damaged a gas meter, resulting in a natural gas leak.

The identity of the shooter(s) remains unknown.

In addition to the victims, a stray bullet hit a gas meter, causing a leak. The Annapolis Fire Department turned off the gas and waited for BGE to respond.

Battalion Chief John Menassa said a utility company crew decided to leave the gas line off overnight because the area was a crime scene.

Menassa said area residents were not evacuated as a result of the gas leak.

Rachel Lighty, a spokeswoman for BGE, said a crew completed repairs to the meter at 10:30 a.m. on Monday.
