Severna Park Man Arrested for Burglary in Crofton

Police find suspect opening a safe at a restaurant early Friday morning.

Police arrested David Wayne Weinstein in connection to an attempted burglary at 1:52 a.m. Friday at the Big Fish Grill on Route 3 south in Crofton, according to a police report.

Officers responded to an alarm at the restaurant and upon arrival, found Weinstein, 43, of Severna Park, attempting to open a safe, according to the police report.

He was arrested and taken to the Western District police station where he was charged with 2nd degree burglary.
