Severna Park Convenience Store Robbed at Knife Point

No suspect has been found in connection with the 7-Eleven robbery Monday night.

Police are searching for a man who robbed a 7-Eleven store in Severna Park just before 11:30 Monday night.

According to police, a man entered the store in the 100 block of Ritchie Highway and then exited several times before making a purchase. After making a purchase, the man came back into the store, picked up additional items and brought them to the counter as if he were going to pay for them. He then pulled out a knife, pointed it at the store clerk and demanded money, according to a police news release. The man reached over the counter and took an undisclosed amount of cash from the register. He then left the store.

Police searched the area, but were unable to find the man, who they describe as a white man, approximately 5 feet, 11 inches to 6 feet tall, with clean-cut hair, wearing a black raincoat.

The clerk was not injured during the robbery.

Police ask anyone with information about the incident to contact Metro Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-866-7LOCKUP or text “MCS” plus your message to CRIMES (27463). Phone calls are not recorded and callers remain anonymous. Callers with information that leads to an arrest may be eligible for a cash reward.
