One person was taken to Shock Trauma and another suffered minor injuries when a dump truck collided with another vehicle on Ritchie Highway early Wednesday morning, fire officials said.

At approximately 2 a.m. crews responded to the intersection of Ritchie Highway and Cypress Cove Road for a two-vehicle collision with entrapment, according to Anne Arundel County Fire Department Division Chief Keith Swindle. A dump truck collided with a red Toyota pick-up truck.
