2 Women in Millersville Robbed at Gunpoint, Police Say

Three men ordered the women to the ground, the Anne Arundel County Police Department said.

An armed robbery outside an apartment building was reported in Millersville over the weekend, according to police.

At 3:19 a.m. on Jan. 11, two women were getting out of their vehicle in the 600 block of Millwright Court and were walking toward their apartment building when three men wearing bandanas and baseball hats ordered them to the ground, the Anne Arundel County Police Department reported.

Holding a long-barreled black handgun to one victim's neck, one of the suspects demanded her car keys, police said.

After the woman provided the keys, the men ransacked the vehicle, taking cash, two purses and two cell phones, according to police.

The men left on foot, headed for a nearby wooded area, police reported.

Several officers canvassed the area—including the K-9 unit, which lost the track a short distance away; the results of the search were negative, and the suspects remained at large, according to police.

Anyone with information about this incident may contact Metro Crime Stoppers. Tipsters may remain anonymous, and may be eligible for a cash reward up to $2,000.
