Man Charged After Allegedly Faking Robbery Report

Allen Taylor of Pasadena was charged with making up a report that he was robbed in Brooklyn Park.

A Pasadena man was arrested after Anne Arundel Police say he made up a robbery report.

Officers were called to the area of Ritchie Highway and 16th Avenue in Brooklyn Park Tuesday morning to meet with the alleged victim, a 47-year-old man who said an unknown suspect took money from him at gunpoint.

The man told police the suspect ran through an open field toward the Brookwood Road area. A search by Anne Arundel officers, K-9 and the Baltimore Police Department’s Aviation unit could not find a suspect.
