Fire Damages Taco Bell in Severna Park

A fire at the Severna Park Taco Bell on Ritchie Highway took firefighters less than 20 minutes to get under control early Friday morning, according to the Anne Arundel County Fire Department.

Firefighters on the scene just after 3 a.m. reported a fire on the roof at the rear of the building. The building was not occupied at the time of the incident and no injuries were reported, according to the fire department.

Fire investigators determined an exterior electrical fixture was the cause of the fire, with damages estimated at about $15,000 and smoke damage to the interior.
