Caught on Tape: Smash-and-Grab Burglar Breaks into Jimmy John's in Severna Park

Anne Arundel County police share photos and surveillance video of a string of smash-and-grab robberies.

Police have released a surveillance video and photographs of several smash-and-grab robberies, all of which they have connected to one man, who was apprehended in Deale on Sept. 20.

David Holland, 54, of Glen Burnie, is facing charges in connection with the burglaries after police apprehended him following a break in at Park Liquors in Deale. 

According to police, the surveillance video shows Holland smashing the glass door of Park Liquors before entering the building and leaving moments later. 

They also released photos of three other burglary scenes that police have connected to Holland: Jimmy John's Subs in Severna Park, Quizno's Subs in Severn and Roundz Gourmet Market. 

Holland is also being charged with burglarizing the following area businesses: 

  • Pizza Bolis, 945 Central Ave., Edgewater
  • Parks Liquors, 454 East Bay Front Rd., Deale
  • Tobacco Shop, 332 Mountain Rd., Glen Burnie
  • Rita's Italian Ice, 810-A Nursery Rd., Linthicum
  • Starbucks Coffee, 503 Ritchie Highway, Severna Park
  • Floyds Barber Shop, 1117 Route 3 South, Crofton
