UPDATE: Police Identify Woman Found Dead on Arnold Golf Course

Updated (7:12 p.m.)—Police have identified the woman found dead at an Arnold golf course on Wednesday morning as Diana Kapnistos Hester, 49, of Farley Court in Arnold.

Anne Arundel County police said there are no immediate indications of foul play, and there were no obvious signs of trauma to the body, which was taken by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore for an autopsy to determine the final cause and manner of death. 

Anne Arundel County police said the woman was found in the snow near the 15th hole tee box at Bay Hills Golf Club, less than a mile away from her home on Farley Court. Authorities said they are investigating this as a suspicious death.

The investigation is being led by the Anne Arundel County Police Department's Criminal Investigation Division's Homicide Unit. 

Police said officials have not yet determined how long the body had been outside, but it appears to have been several hours.

Temperatures overnight Tuesday reached the single digits.
