Family Violence Trial Postponed
The trial for James Arthur Zito, the 22-year-old Millersville man who allegedly stabbed his mother in July 2012 and then fled the home, was postponed after the defense attorney said his client "has mental health issues and is not criminally responsible for this case."

Anne Arundel County police arrested and charged a Severna Park man after they say he attempted to break into an area home on New Year’s Day.

Men Rob Millersville 7-Eleven at Gunpoint
Police said two men robbed a 7-Eleven in Millersville at gunpoint on Jan. 8. Police were unable to locate the suspects.

MTA Bus Involved in Crash on Ritchie Highway
Five people were transported to area hospitals on Jan. 10 after a Maryland Transit Administration (MTA) bus ran into the rear of a vehicle, which then caused another wreck, on Ritchie Highway.

Men Rob AT&T Store at Gunpoint
Anne Arundel County police are searching for two men who used a gun to rob the AT&T store in Severna Park on Jan. 29. Police said the men ultimately took an unknown quantity of phones.
