Patch reported on several police and fire incidents last month including a fatal accident and pizza delivery driver robberies.

UPDATE: Police Seek Driver in Fatal I-97 Hit-and-Run
Police are still looking for the driver in the Dec. 11 fatal hit-and-run on I-97 in Millersville. Maryland State Police said someone struck and killed Wilmer R. Borgmann III and fled the scene.

Woman Sentenced in Cat Cruelty Case
Deanna Lusko was sentenced in the September 2011 Cool Cats Rescue animal cruelty case in which more than 60 cats were seized from the center on Benfield Road. Lusko, who once ran Cool Cats Rescue, was ordered by a judge to pay a $2,000 fine and receive mental health care.

Pizza Delivery Driver Robbed with Knife
Police said a man armed with a knife robbed a pizza delivery driver in Millersville on Dec. 10. At the time, it was the second reported robbery involving a delivery driver in Millersville in three days. The suspect was not located.

Last-minute Christmas shoppers at Kohl's had an unexpected surprise on Dec. 20 when the building was evacuated. Fire officials said the evacuation was only because of a fire alarm and no one was injured.

Pizza Delivery Driver Robbed in Millersville
On Dec. 6, a pizza delivery driver was robbed in Millersville. Police said the suspect implied that he had a weapon and demanded the driver's money. The delivery driver gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of cash who then left on foot.
