Bicyclist Hits Woman on Baltimore Annapolis Trail

A woman was struck by a bicycle on the Baltimore and Annapolis Trail in Severna Park on Tuesday.

A 59-year-old woman was struck by a bicycle on Tuesday while walking on the Baltimore and Annapolis Trail, said Chief Michael Cox of the Anne Arundel County Fire Department.

Fire crews responded to the incident near the intersection of Light Street and Guy Avenue in Severna Park at 3:33 p.m. Tuesday. The woman was transported by ambulance to the Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore with serious but not life-threatening injuries, Cox said.
