Police: Note Used in Bank Robbery on Ritchie Highway

Man passed a note to the teller to steal an undisclosed amount of money.

Anne Arundel County Police said a man robbed the Capitol One Bank located in the 500 block of Ritchie Highway in Severna Park around 3 p.m. on Friday.

Police reported the man showed a note to the teller demanding money and left with an undisclosed amount of money.

The man is described by police as a black male, about six feet tall, with a heavy build in his 40s. During the robbery he was wearing a gray leather goat, a gray scarf and a light-colored Kango brand hat with a pattern on it, according to police.
