Annapolis Man Beaten, Robbed of $780

Police said two juveniles beat and robbed a man in the 1000 block of Madison Street on Saturday afternoon.

An Annapolis man was beaten and his wallet—containing $780 was stolen—in the 1000 block of Madison Street on Saturday around 5 p.m, according to Annapolis Police.

The man told Police he was urinating near the tree and shrubbery line when he was struck in the head from behind. He told police he turned around and saw male juveniles who appeared to be in their teens. One of them punched him repeatedly in the face until he fell to the ground and then took his wallet from his pants pocket.

Both fled the area towards the intersection of President Street and Madison Street.

The man suffered multiple bruises to his face and was bleeding from a cut above his right eye. He was taken to Anne Arundel Medical Center for treatment.

But everyone said there's not much violence during the day around the Eastport Community Center where many Ward 6 voters have to vote. This adds to our fears. :/
