2 Teens Charged in Stabbing at WaWa in Millersville

Police have charged two teens in a stabbing at a WaWa gas station in Millersville Friday night that sent an 18-year-old to Shock Trauma. 

Officers arrived at the WaWa at 8200 Veterans Highway around 6 p.m. Friday and spoke with an 18-year-old male victim who said he was stabbed in the parking lot, according to a release. 

The victim told police he was the passenger in a truck leaving the WaWa parking lot when four suspects pulled behind the victim’s truck in a black Mitsubishi. After words were exchanged, police said a passenger from the suspect vehicle exited the car and approached the driver of the truck with an alleged Taser. The victim exited the truck and confronted the first suspect and a fight broke out. 

Police said the driver of the suspect vehicle ran up behind the victim and punched him once in the side. Then all four suspects re-entered their vehicle and fled south on Veterans Highway. The victim then discovered he had been stabbed.

The victim was transported to University of Maryland Sock Trauma with a collapsed lung, but is expected to survive.

An investigation led police to arrest two people including a 17-year-old. 

Police said Robert Michael Dupree, 19, of the 200 block of Scotts Manor Drive in Millersville was charged with second-degree attempted murder, first-degree assault, second-degree assault, disorderly conduct and reckless endangerment.

The 17-year-old male from Millersville, was cited on a juvenile citation with second-degree assault, disorderly conduct and reckless endangerment, according to a release.
