Martin Toskov Jr., 54, died September 17 at Baltimore Washington Medical Center. Martin was born in Baltimore, raised in Arnold, and attended Severna Park High School. He was a truck driver for over 30 years, and worked for Jernigan Concrete Pumping in Hanover for the past 24 years. He was also a motorcycle enthusiast. (From Barranco and Sons)

Katherine Tappen Guthorn died September 10 in Severna Park. Kay, as she was known, had recently celebrated her 90th birthday. Kay was most proud of her service to her country as a U.S. Navy Wave during World War II. It was during this time that she met her husband, Dr. Peter J. Guthorn, who predeceased her in 1998. (From Barranco and Sons)
