Gerald “Jerry” C. Miller, 82, a resident of Severna Park, died on June 9, 2013 at his home. He was born on August 7, 1930 in Jeannette, PA, where he was raised, and has lived at residences in Nyack, NY; New York, NY; Wayne, NJ; and Severna Park.

Jerry graduated from St. Vincent College in PA and Penn State. He was a major in the U.S. Air Force and served for five years. He was employed as a salesman for Ingersoll Rand and Texaco, and was an airline pilot for 30 years for U.S. Airways.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Betty Miller (nee Goetz); four children, Susan Miller Smith (Pat), Dan Miller (Jill Robin), Ted Miller (Lisa), Brian Miller (Anne Marie); eleven grandchildren; and one sister, Carol Stillwagon.

Rachel Anne Reynolds passed away at home on June 5th after a two-year battle with leukemia.

Rachel’s surviving family include Scott and Christine Reynolds (parents), brother Matthew, maternal grandparents Robert P. and Arlene Murphy of Syracuse, paternal grandparents Glen and Mary Reynolds of Baltimore, aunts and uncles Karen Murphy, Sherry and Hank Pokigo, Brian Reynolds, and Michael P. Murphy in addition to several extended aunts, uncles and cousins.

Rachel was always a happy child who was known to her parents as their little sunshine. Rachel was vibrant, intelligent, fun loving, courageous, and had a huge sense of humor. She was an avid reader, enjoyed being with her friends, playing Barbies, swimming, eating cheese, and spending time with her family. She could find the happy side of any situation.
