Vernon J. Brown, 90, a resident of Severna Park, died on July 14, 2013 at Baltimore Washington Medical Center in Glen Burnie. He was born on July 17, 1922 in Baltimore, where he was raised, and moved to Severna Park in 1955. Vernon worked in construction as an equipment operator. He served in the Army in WWII, was a DAV, and received the Purple Heart medal. He was a member of American Legion Post # 40. (From Barranco and Sons)

John Joseph Flood Jr. (also known as Jack or Gramps), 87, of Severna Park passed away on Saturday, July 13, 2013 at Baltimore Washington Medical Center. He was born in Brooklyn, New York on May 2, 1926 and was a son of the late John J. Flood Sr. and Loretta Leroy Flood. (From Barranco and Sons)

Robert R. White, a licensed clinical psychologist, 90, died on July 11 at the Crofton Convalescent Center after a long illness. He was a resident of Severna Park for many years and had a private practice, as well as worked with several county school systems. (From Barranco and Sons)


Nicole Marie Weeks died July 12. Nicole was raised in Severna Park. She attended Severna Park High School, University of Maryland in Baltimore County, and the University of Maryland of Medicine, achieving her Doctorate in Toxicology in 2008. (From Barranco and Sons)

Louis O. Herrmann died peacefully July 10 while taking an afternoon nap. He was 91 years old and from Severna Park. (From Barranco and Sons)
