Barranco Obituary: Ann Marie Vogt

Ann Marie Vogt, 64, of Severna Park, died peacefully at home with her family on Oct. 27, 2012 after a 3.5 year battle with cancer.

She was born on June 22, 1948 in Brooklyn, NY and grew up in Sparta, NJ. She graduated from Sparta High School and has lived in Severna Park, MD for 28 years. She worked as a merchandiser with American Greetings for 10 years. Ann Marie enjoyed participating in her church bible study, doll collecting, traveling and spending time with family.

She is survived by her husband, Michael G. Vogt of 38 years and was the devoted mother of two sons, Gary and David of Severna Park. She has two grandchildren, Tiffany and Samantha. She is also survived by her brother, Eivind, of Marion, MA, She was preceded in death by her parents; Haakon and Margrethe Strand.
