John (Jack) Coulter: On Oct. 7, 2012, John (Jack) H. Coulter, of Severna Park, formerly of Towson, devoted husband of the late Dorothy Coulter, loving father of the late Patricia Coulter, dear brother of the late Frank and Alfred Coulter, and dear brother in law of Marie Coulter.
Graveside services will be held at Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens on Wednesday, Oct. 17, at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Chesapeake, 445 Defense Highway, Annapolis, MD 2140.
Rita Le Gette: Rita Frances Le Gette, 74, resident of Severna Park, died on October 4, 2012 at home surrounded by her family.
She was born on June 24, 1938 in Brooklyn, NY and raised in Huntington Station, NY and Woodland, CA. After graduating valedictorian of her high school, St. Joseph Academy in Sacramento, CA, she went on to earn her Bachelor of Science, in Education, at California State University, Sacramento (Sac State). Past residences include San Francisco, CA; Springfield, VA; Stockton, CA, Scottsdale, AZ; and since 1980, in Severna Park, MD.
Ronald Keefer, Jr.: Ronald C Keefer Jr, 58, died on Oct. 4. Born March 30, 1954 in Ft. Meade, MD to Ronald & Shirley Keefer. Ron graduated from Severna Park High School in 1972 and attended Anne Arundel Community College.
He is survived by his wife Connie, his three children Chad, Shawn & Kristy and 10 loving grandchildren. Ron enjoyed travelling and vacationing in Mexico, watching football, relaxing in his pool and taking long walks in the fall with his wife.
Ellen Gatton: Ellen Marie Gatton, 84, a resident of Severna Park, died on Oct. 3, 2012 at Baltimore Washington Medical Center in Glen Burnie. She was born on June 11, 1928 in Richwood, West Virginia and came to Arnold, MD (Pines on the Severn) in the mid 1950s.
During the late 1950’s, she met and married John Thomas Gatton and has lived in Severna Park ever since.
Betty Schlachte: Elizabeth Ann Schlachte, 73, a 40 year resident of Arnold died on Oct. 2, 2012 at her home.
She was born on Jan. 29, 1939 in Bridgeport, CT, where she was raised, and attended St. Francis College in Loretto, PA.
Elizabeth was a real estate agent for Prudential Curruthers and most recently at Champion Realty. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her grandchildren.
