SPHS Thespian Troupe to Perform Song and Dance to Help Raise Funds for Cisco Center

Special needs school still rebuilding from 2010 fire and needs community support to reopen.

Catch rising stars as the Broadway bound International Thespian Troupe sing their hearts out for "Severna Park Cares- A Broadway Review"  featuring a collection of songs, skits and dances from modern and classical musical theatre beginning at 7 p.m. Sept. 30 at the school located at 60 Robinson Road. 

This production is a community service project to raise funds to benefit the a nonprofit center serving children with special needs. The center, owned and operated by special educator Cisco Nachera and located at 350 Baltimore Annapolis Blvd. in Severna Park, was destroyed by a fire on Feb. 3 , 2010.

The Cisco staff is relying on the generosity of the community to help rebuild the original facility and funds are still needed to reopen the center to the 50 plus families they serve from the greater Severna Park area. Tickets are $5 at the door. The show is suitable for all ages, so bring your friends and family.
