Community Update

I have had a wonderful experience with Kris-Leigh Assisted Living over the last three years. The residents are an absolute joy, and the staff are caring and respectful. Anne Arundel Department of Aging recently recognized and awarded several Caregiver of the Year Awards to staff among all three of the communities. I know caregiving is not an easy job - it really takes special people to physically and emotionally care for residents and their families too. I read a post about hospice doing all the work; however when hospice services are needed, hospice does not replace the Kris-Leigh staff. In my experience, hospice typically comes out three times a week for a couple of hours to assist staff with managing the increased needs of the resident. I highly recommend Kris-Leigh Assisted Living, and I suggest requesting a recent state survey as an overview.
