Anne Arundel County

Anne Arundel Community College Turkey Trot - Nov. 27, noon, AACC's Arnold campus. Cost is $15-20.

Fort Meade Turkey Trot - Nov. 23, 8 a.m. Murphy Field House, Fort Meade. Cost is $25. Benefits Fort Meade MWR.

Fleet Feet Turkey Trot - Nov. 28, 9 a.m. at 318 6th St., Annapolis. Cost is free, but donations are accepted. Benefits The Bowen Foundation for Autism.

Stride for SPAN Turkey Trot, Nov. 23, 8:30 a.m. Kinder Farm Park, Millersville. Cost is $35 for the 5K, $20 for the 1-mile walk. Benefits Severna Park Action Network (SPAN).

Archbishop Spalding Cavalier Turkey Trot, Nov. 28, 8:30 a.m. at Archbishop Spalding High School. Cost is $15 or $30 with a shirt. Benefits Spalding cross country and track teams.

Camp Letts Turkey Chase, Nov. 28 at 8:30 a.m., 4003 Camp Letts Rd., Edgewater. Cost is $35 for the 5K, $40 for the 10k. Benefits underprivileged kids and the Camp Letts Community Caring program.

Prince George's County

Turkey Trot to Benefit LARS, Nov. 28 at 8 a.m., First United Methodist Church, 424 Main St., Laurel. Cost is $35. Benefits Laurel Advocacy and Referral Services.

Howard County

Turkey Trot Charity 5k - YMCA of Central Maryland: Nov. 28, 8:30 a.m., the Y invites residents to a 5k run and walk at the Long Gate Shopping Center, 4310 Montgomery Road, Ellicott City.More info here.

Turkey Trot 10k Prediction Run- Nov. 28, 9:30 a.m. - The Howard County Striders host this annual run where the goal is not to run the fastest, but to get as close to a certain time as possible. In this case, the goal is to finish as close to 11 a.m. as possible. The event starts at 9:30 a.m. at the Jeffers Hill Neighborhood Center (6000 Tamar Drive, Columbia).
