Catching Up With 'Pippin' Star Cory Jeweler

The Severna Park High sophomore is playing Charlemagne in the Catonsville Youth Theatre's production of "Pippin Junior."

Patch stopped by Severna Park High School to talk with a few drama students participating in the Catonsville Youth Theatre’s production of "Pippin Junior."

Sophomore Cory Jeweler is playing Charlemagne, Pippin's father, in the production, which includes seven Severna Park High students.

Severna Park Patch: How long have you been participating in drama, and what are a few productions you have participated in?
Cory Jeweler: Ten years and this is my third time doing Pippin. I have also been in Fiddler on the Roof.

Severna Park Patch: What is your favorite part about being in Pippin Junior?
Jeweler: Just all the people involved, it is a fun place to be.”

Severna Park Patch: What was one of your favorite roles you have played in a production?
Jeweler: Probably the sea monster in Peggy the Pint Sized Pirate it was a really fun part and all the people in the play were like my best friends

Jeweler: I like to sing, long board and hang out with people.”

Severna Park Patch: What is one of your favorite shows that you have seen?
Jeweler: Probably Phantom of the Opera on Broadway everything from the acting to the special effects was awesome
