Brown’s tenure as chair follows that of John Cammack, managing partner of Cammack Associates, who began his two-year term as chair of UWCM’s board of directors in 2011. James Wheeler, President of Ayers Saint Gross, will serve as vice-chair of the board, working closely with Ms. Brown.

“We are fortunate to tap into the talents and leadership qualities of these exemplary professionals. They will help guide our organization as we focus on advancing education, income and health for those most vulnerable in our community,” said Mark Furst, President and CEO of United Way of Central Maryland in a release.
