Join the Severn River Lions for a dinner meeting the first and third Tuesdays each month. Dinner, catered by Adams Ribs, is followed by an interesting program speaker and short business meeting.
Lions Clubs International is the largest volunteer service organization in the world. Since the club’s chartering in 1956, we have worked on numerous projects in the local community, such as preschool and adult vision screening, Adopt-a-Highway, handicap ramp construction and Meals on Wheels. Every penny raised from the community is returned to the community. Proceeds from past fundraising events have provided annual scholarships to graduating seniors at Severna Park and Broadneck high schools; supported Leader Dogs for the Blind which trains sight and hearing assistance dogs; and provided food and funds to the Severna Park Assistance Network.
