Spaghetti Dinner and Raffle fundraiser

SATURDAY (Nov 9th) - Spaghetti Dinner and raffle fundraiser to benefit Boy Scout troop 474 at Harundale Presbyterian Church (across from Outback and Mission BBQ, next to the North County library). Come anytime between 4 PM and 7 PM. Tickets are $8 per adult, $6 for kids ages 3 to 12, free for kids under 3, and will be available at the door. Spaghetti options: plain, or with veggie sauce, or meat sauce, or meatballs.

There are over 20 different prizes for the raffle this year, including a Ravens-themed basket of goodies, Tupperware, Tastefully Simple items, gift certificate to Beefalo Bobs in Pasadena, summer time toys, garden-themed basket, etc, etc.  The way it worked last year is you bought 'tickets' for the raffle, then dropped them into the bag next to the prize you wanted to win. Say you bought 5 tickets - you could put one ticket into 5 different bags, or all 5 tickets into one bag if it was a prize you really wanted. Then tickets are drawn for each prize and if your ticket is drawn, you win! Odds of winning depend on how many people have placed tickets into that prize's bag. You do not need to be present to win.

Entry to the dinner will be around the back of the church - drive down the church driveway around back to the parking lot, and the double door at the far side of the parking lot leads to the Fellowship Hall, where the dinner will be. You may be asked which Scout you are there to support - just mention you saw an ad for the dinner on-line. Thanks in advance!
