Run for the Ta-Tas 5K Fun Run/Walk

In celebration of the Grand Opening Weekend of Fleet Feet Sports Severna Park, we’re hosting the 1st Annual Run for the Ta-Tas 5K Fun Run/Walk! This race is done in a special format: “Ta-Ta Chaser” style, and one-of-a-kind in Anne Arundel County! The race will be held in honor of all friends, family, and community members who have been diagnosed with Breast Cancer.

ALL PROCEEDS will be donated to the MetaVivor Research and Support Program, a local organization that continues to support women and men with metastatic breast cancer (MBC) in the Greater Annapolis area, as well as support outreach, awareness, and research for the disease.

What’s a Ta-Ta Chaser?

A Ta-Ta Chaser is for both male and female runners alike, and is our way of bringing the entire community together for the cause!

All female participants will be released at 9:00am, and male participants will be released exactly THREE MINUTES AFTER the females! Men – chase em’ down with all you got, and don’t let your ladies cross the finish line before you do!

Women are encourage to run in Sports Bras (if weather permits!) in honor of those who have been diagnosed with breast cancer.

Breakfast and refreshments will be provided post-run!

Awards: The first person to cross the finish line – Male or Female will win $100 CASH PRIZE!Awards will also be given to:
  • Top Male/Female “Kid” Runner (12 and under)
  • “Best Fitness Bra” in town – so jazz up your fitness bra and get sassy! (Guys, we aren’t excluding you on this one either!) You may decorate a shirt with a sports bra on it – or wear a sports bra over your shirt if the weather is chilly!

As always, our Fun Runs are FREE to the community, however, we are asking that participants make a donation as their entry fee to our beneficiary. We want to bring attention to local causes and give back to the community that has given so much to us. So, we are asking that all participants please make a $5 - $10 donation as their entry fee. 100% of proceeds will go to METAVivor Research and Support Program.
