Pride of Baltimore II Returns from the Great Lakes

Pride II opens for FREE deck tours on Saturday during the Fells Point Fun Festival


On Saturday, October 5, 2013 Pride of Baltimore II will make her homecoming arrival from the Great Lakes into Baltimore during the 47th annual Fells Point Fun Festival. The ship will travel past Ft. McHenry at 10:00 a.m., through the Baltimore Inner Harbor by 11:00 a.m., and with canons blazing, dock at Broadway Pier in Fells point at 11:30 a.m.. Pride II will be open for FREE deck tours at Broadway Pier in Fells Point between noon and 2 p.m..

In May 2013 Pride II departed Baltimore for Miramichi, New Brunswick to participate in the TALL SHIPS CHALLENGE Great Lakes 2013 Series, commemorating the military events of the War of 1812 across Great Lakes for both the United States and Canada. Over 107,000 visitors have crossed her deck in 2013.

Pride of Baltimore II is a reproduction of an 1812-era topsail schooner privateer. She is Maryland's working symbol of the great natural resources and spectacular beauty of the Chesapeake Bay region, and a reminder of America's rich maritime heritage. Pride of Baltimore II is owned and operated by the 501(c)(3) non-profit organization Pride of Baltimore, Inc.
