Fall Harvest Festival at Kinder Farm Park

The Friends of Kinder Farm Park in cooperation with the Dept of Recreation and Parks will again host their annual Fall Harvest Festivalon Saturday, October 12th from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm.  The event is a fun-filled day of activities for the entire family including children's games and crafts, scarecrow making, pumpkin and face painting, pony rides,  tractor-driven hayrides, demonstrations, craft vendors, food concessions, live music, scarecrow making, a haunted barn and much more!   New family games have been added this year, as well as a reptile show.
Proceeds go to the Friends group which is a non-profit organization providing volunteer support to the park.  It allows us to purchase items that the county is unable to provide.  Non-perishable food will be collected by the Boy Scouts for the AA Co Food Bank.
Volunteers middle school age to adults are needed before, during and following the event.  Service learning hours will be awarded.
Long-sleeved shirts and pants are needed for scarecrows.  They may be dropped off at the park office.
No entrance fees!
For more info, contact the park office at 410-222-6115 or see our flyer at
