Fall Family Weekends in the Park

The
Friends of Kinder Farm Park were more than disappointed to have to cancel our

annual Fall Harvest Festival.  This is our major fundraiser.  But our

disappointment was rapidly replaced by determination to move ahead with

alternative plans.

Therefore, we have decided to host Fall Family Weekend in the Park over the next two weekends – October 19th and 20th, as well as the 26th and 27th.  From 11:00 am until 3:00 pm on each of those days, we will have a few of our most popular events open, including the Boo Barn, pumpkin painting, scarecrow making, tractor hayrides and our new straw maze.  In addition, come and take your picture next to our straw sculptures.  The farmhouse, which is still being renovated, will be open for tours.

There are fees for each of the activities, with the exception of the farmhouse tour, which is free, however, donations would be greatly appreciated.  The boy scouts are still accepting donations of non-perishable foods for the Anne Arundel County Food Bank.

Volunteers ages middle school to adult are still needed.  Service learning hours will be awarded.  If you can volunteer, please contact the park office at 410-222-6115 as soon as possible.

Be aware that parking is limited as there will be no parking crews available and gate fees apply on those days.
