Art Show at Historic Baldwin Hall

A one-woman art show featuring Gambrills resident and painter Mildred Anderson will be held in The Schoolhouse at Historic Baldwin Hall on March 29 & 30. Saturday hours are 11-4; Sunday hours are 1-4.

Mrs. Anderson works in oils, watercolors and acrylics. Her art features local churches, barns, landmarks and landscapes throughout the State of Maryland, some of which are preserved only through her beautiful paintings. In some cases, Anderson's renderings of the sites were created just days before they were demolished.

Copies of Mrs. Anderson's books "Old Time Churches" and "Memories: A Piece of History" will be available for sale, as well original paintings and prints.

Historic Baldwin Hall is located at 1358 Millersville Road, at the intersection of Old Rt. 178 (General's Highway) and Millersville Road. There is no admission, however, donations for the upkeep of Baldwin Hall and the grounds and gardens will be gratefully accepted. For additional information, phone 410.533.5370
